Riyadh Chamber recently hosted an extended meeting, organized and sponsored by GGC. Notable attendees included officials from the Saudi Development Fund and the Saudi Export Development Authority.
The focus was on elevating this sector from its current state to a prominent one through the empowerment of national consultancy offices. The discussion revolved around the enhancement of the quality, capabilities, and volume of Saudi exports at multiple levels. To support these goals, various supportive programs and international initiatives were reviewed, emphasizing their potential contributions to expanding Saudi exports.
The year 2019 marked a critical moment for the consultancy sector, serving as a stepping stone towards a new chapter. With the issuance of the Professional Companies Law, a more mature legislative environment was established, which reaffirmed the government's belief in the sector's significance and its future role within the Kingdom. Consequently, this created an opportunity for consultancy offices to operate professionally and with greater organizational structure, fostering integration and development.
